React Job: Tech Lead (Digital)

The technical lead responsibilities will include:

• Engaging with business and technical stakeholders to illicit requirements to deliver quality outcomes
• Engaging with Technology Manager , Business Analyst, and project Manager to deliver effective outcomes for VHA
• Providing support and technical lead to a team of software engineers to drive best practice approaches to application development
• Designing and developing front-end solutions utilising modern web technology stack
• Developing and consuming APIs for the need of front-end applications
• Utilising CI/CD pipelines to deploy both front-end and backend solutions

The role would require someone senior with skills required as follows:

• Minimum of 4 years working with React, ReactJS, Typescript, NodeJS, and React state management such as Context API, Redux, etc.
• Proficient in HTML and CSS and have experience building complex UI layouts with modern CSS-in-JS libraries
• Experience in writing unit tests for both front-end and back-end utilizing Jest, React Testing Library, or other similar Javascript testing libraries
• Sound understanding of REST principles and have hands-on experience in developing NodeJS APIs or Microservices
• Experience in AWS service offerings like Lambda
• Must be an Australian Citizen / Permanent Resident/ Full working rights in Australia.
